Come Get Messy With Us!

Mommies come relax, have coffee and a yummy snack while you observe, learn, play and grow with your young child. You will develop a toolbox of respectful parenting tools that are neither punitive nor permissive. Moms and dads will develop relationships with like-minded individuals who want to parent from their heart and feel truly connected to their child.

Toddlers ages 18 months to 2.5 years will get to freely play and explore in a beautiful backyard environment. There will be lots of opportunities for getting messy! Mud, playdough, paint, art, climbing and LOTS of water play.

This class meets on Mondays from 10:00 to 11:30 am in Mar Vista.

This class is co-facilitated by Marni Parsons and Kellie Krevoy. While working together in the preschool classroom they found their styles complimented each other beautifully. Kellie and Marni share a vision for teaching parents to use intentional language with children to foster healthy social, emotional and cognitive development. The passion they have for treating children with respect and love guides their every interaction from the child to the parent.

Marni Parsons is a PCI Certified Parent Coach®, Certified Positive Discipline Parent and Classroom Educator & Family Consultant. As the mother of two teenage girls she understands the challenges inherent in raising children who are self-disciplined, responsible, cooperative and effective problem solvers. She is passionately committed to guiding, supporting, educating and comforting parents so that they can experience greater confidence, less stress, and more joy. Parents who work with Marni develop a toolbox of unique parenting skills so they can go to bed every night proud of the parent they are, and confident that they are doing what’s best for their children. Marni is a sought after speaker for preschools, PTA’s, MOMS Clubs, and playgroups. With her unique combination of experience and education she understands what it’s like to be a parent in today’s society. She speaks from her heart with humor and compassion about raising an adult you will always be proud to call your baby.

Kellie Krevoy is the mother of two young children. She has worked professionally as a preschool educator for eleven years in some of the most prestigious preschools on LA’s Westside. Life’s experiences have given Kellie the opportunity to connect with children and families of all backgrounds. She has her BA in Human Development from Pacific Oaks and is a Certified Early Childhood Educator. Kellie has experienced first hand that the skills and techniques she found invaluable in the classroom have helped her to become a more mindful and effective parent. She is driven to share her knowledge with other moms and dads so that they too can become familiar with the power of intentional language and respectful parenting.
