    Hello Marni,

I am taking my time to read wonderful blog entries and came upon yours. You know that as a psychologist I feel that parents tend to let their teenagers on the loose assuming that it is ok because they don\'t need us anymore. Well, I have experienced differently beacuse emotionally speaking even if they create a barrier they need us more. I have two toddlers 3 and 1 and I am enjoying every bit of them, I can not deny I dread the day they will not want to be around me, right now my husband and I are their world, but I also feel so excited to see them grow and watch them bloom. It was nice reading your personal stories, I think it is inspiring. love to keep in contact and share ideas.

Liza, Thank you so much for your thoughtful response to my blog. Raising children is such a mix of bitter and sweet. We want to watch them grow and develop, but we also would keep them young forever if we could!

    Take care,
    Marni
